DREAMS::

Team One is a group of engineers and amateur space explorers. We have created this group for commercialization of space in India, and bring advances in space travel, tourism, sciences, and technology to the general public at large. We plan to establish an Open Space Foundation that provides incentives, education, and funding to future individuals and organizations seeking opportunities in this final frontier. In addition, we hope to foster greater public interest in Space Exploration and Research as well as educate the public at large on the past, present, and future importance of these discoveries.

Team One is also targeting Google lunar X-Prize (GLXP). We will be trying to be a part greatest adventure of our life time. It demonstrates small dedicated teams of individuals can do what was thought once only possible by governments. The GLXP is an opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of that history; in this quest we will be modifying the space exploration. Our main aim would be to lower down the space exploration cost & space tourism cost.

Team One contains peoples from Bombay, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi etc. These students are from different branches of engineering and trying to use their knowledge to make this mission possible. Team One has lot of things to seek out as the mission is in earlier part; we have made some plans which can put us to the moon. We have got some plans about ‘robot’ and the ‘module’ that can carry the robot to lunar surface. Team One’s first mission is to complete the registration in GLXP & We will be targeting initial tasks which is required to win the prize money of $20 million and we will be looking for the hardware of moon1.0 on moon surface which is left there by the Apollo missions. Our focus will also be on the elements available on moon surface and we will be trying to get the mooncasts which is required for the mission to be accomplished. Team One will also allow peoples around the globe to send their photos to moon surface or personal things which they want to place it on moon surface.

Our business plans are actively in development for a series of missions to the Moon during the International Lunar Decade in support of science, exploration and commerce. It is our intention to seed and lead a new market for private commercial lunar enterprise. First we will take on the early risks and prove it can be done; then we will offer inexpensive and reliable lunar products and services to others. Team One’s inaugural mission will involve a unique small robotic lander designed to deliver scientific, exploration and commercial payloads to the surface of the Moon, and we might be the first team in India which will be trying for such an exclusive attempt of the history.
